Lake County (Mont.); Polson (Mont.); Flathead Indian Reservation (Mont.); Oxen
John and Dorla Scott of Charlo hitched up four of their six oxen for hay rides at the Western Montana Draft Horse and Mule Association's spring plowing bee near Polson. The teams were named Nip and Tuck l, ll, and lll. The animals made guest appearances at parades and celebrations throughout the west - including the Calgary Stampede - for many years.
