In March 1935, a Walter L. Rowland, a son of Fred Rowland died at a CCC camp in Lame Deer. That obit says Fred Rowland lives 6 1/2 miles east of Billings. There were also 4 girls in the family. His wife (possibly Bertha May Bonham) was dead by this point. Fred came to Billings about 1950 as a 28-year-old. He died January 26, 1951.
