She came to Montana as a child with her parents Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Boyle. Born June 27, 1879, in Buffalo, N.Y., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Boyle, she graduated from Billings High School in 1897. She was married to Fred Panton Rixon in June, 1919. He died in 1937. Maude Boyle Rixon is listed in A History of Montana by Burlingame & Toole. She was a fine musician who taught piano and organ. She attended the Ferry Hall Music Academy in Chicago. Died in 1968 - See Mrs. Maude Rixon, Billings Gazette February 3, 1968. Donated an organ to the Congregational Church - See Organ to Be Dedicated, Billings Gazette May 5, 1973.
