The son of John & Susanna Rixon, Frederick Panton Rixon was born in Ontario, Canada on November 23, 1874. He came to Montana in April, 1883. Brother of Harold and William Rixon. Brother of Rebecca Helen Rixon Bates, Eleanor Rixon Fristchi, Anna Rixon Reece, and Winifred Rixon Chapple. . Frederick was instrumental in Holmes & Rixon drug store/ pharmacy. He served as City Treasurer, County Treasurer, Deputy Clerk of Court and a representative to State Legislature. A member of the Maverick Hose Company, the Masons, the Elks, Woodman of the World. and the Commercial Club. By 1916, Rixon's Broadway Pharmacy was advertising in the Billings Gazette. He married Maude Boyle - See Fred P Rixon to Marry Today, Billings Gazette, October 15, 1919. Frederick is listed in the History of Montana by Stout. He died February, 1936 or 1937 and was buried at Mountview Cemetery
