Helped establish the YMCA & Billings Polytechnic Institute. Montana State Senator in 1910. Credited with planting trees along Poly Drive - See Man Who Planted Poly Drive Trees, Billings Gazette, September 10, 1953, p. 3. Moved from Billings in the 1920s and was a U.S. Customs Collector in San Diego for many years. Died in California in 1954 - See WB George Dies in Los Angeles, Billings Gazette, May 2, 1954, p1. Buried at Mountview Cemetery.
