Description	This study compares Indian livestock ranch organization and operations on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation with non-Indian ranch organizations and operations in adjoining and nearby counties. Costs and returns are compared to assess the equity of grazing rates being charged for the use of reservation lands. Ranch organization and operations are analyzed and recommendations are made that can assist Indian operators in improving their financial returns and becoming more successful in the ranching business.
