Cheerleader for two years (Football & Girls Basketball J, Pep Club for three /ears, Letterwinners Club for two -ears. Student Council rep-'esenta'i/e fcr the class her Sophomore & Junior years, Girls State Delegate, Office Aide, Basketball for two years /ears. Drama for two years. She is presently the Student Council Vice Prestde'-t. She plans to attend the College of Great FalU majoring in Elementary Education and mlnoring in Music Education . �22113 CLEANUP WEEK There will be a spring cleanup effort in this community on the week of May 18 through May 23. This cleanup -"ill be made passible *hrcugh the cooperation of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Indie Health Service, Tribal Health Service, City ot Poplar, Fort Peck Housing Authority, Poplar Schools, Fort Peck Tribes, and all the citizens of the community. Everyone is urged to clean up their property from il�t curb on the street side to the middle of iKl alley. All trash must be bagged or boxed and ploced in the alley or in the garbage containers for pickup. The city will have other trucks (this week only) to pick up trash that will not fit in the garbage containers as they do not dump readily. Trees to be picked up by the City crew will have to be cut in short lengths for ease in handl ing. On May 21$t, at 1:00 p.m. the school will assist in the cleanup effort. Ever/one %!.c has a dog is urged to wafc;' them at this time to reduce the chance of injury to s^me student. Let's alt pitch in and net our town cleaned up and keep it that way. He has participated in football for four years, basketball for three years, wrestling manager one year, Notional Honor Society for two /ears A'here he is currently President, Senior Class President, Letterwinners for 2 /ears where he has been President his Jr. and Sr. /ear and Pep Club for two /ears. Some of Shawn's a-/.ards are All Conference Nose Guard for two /ears, All Conference Center for 1 /ear. Most Valuable Player in Football this year, the Blue Hitter Award for two years, Baush & Lomb Science award, and he represented our school in the Academic Olympics held in Wolf Point this spring. Shawn is also o member of the National High School Rodeo Association. He is presently rhe National Honor Society Vice President. Joe plans to attend Montana State University in Bozeman to enter the engineering field. Peter Schrritz is the son of Al Schmitz. He is a member of Choir for four years, NHS, Speech & Debate, Yearbook Editor his Ju'.ioryear, Drama *or two /ears. Track for three years, Pep Club and 4-H . Peter is presently Student Council President, Choir President & Pep Club Vice President. He was the closs vice president when he was a junior. Some of Peter's awards are National School Choral Aware, District Honor Choir for t*o years. Best Character Actor 1980, Be. Supporting Actor 1961, and Boys State Representative. Peter has participated in various Mens and Mixed H'-semble and State Music Festival.
