JULY 198 - A DATE TO AIM FOR!_._ A precedent was set in 19& by a group oi dedicated individuals who conceived and carried out their dream of an All-Classes Reunion for the alumni of Poplar High School. This gathering proved to be a joyous time for the many classmates who convened to participate in the well-organized event. They expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the local group who put together the large well-presented affair. THEREFORE - As a tribute to the Charter Members of this All-Classes Reunion Assn. and an- assurance that this reunion idea shall not dissipate with the passing of time, this appeal in made to the great number of alumni of PHS. Please attend the All-Classes Reunion meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 26th, 8 p.m. at the Legion Club. It must be true that the many younger groups of PHS alumni have much to add to the planning of a happy reunion for the anticipated guests who would be eager to appear at the next such gathering. The span of years, 196<#-198<*, with a successful reunion every five years should indicate that 1981* would be a good year to get involved with a "Bang-Up gathering"for all our friends from PHS. Come to the meeting at the Legion Club in Poplar, 3uly 26th , 8 p.m. LET'S GET ORGANIZED!! NEW POSTMASTER Bob Trinder has been appointed official Postmaster of the Poplar Post Office. As of July 31, 1983, Bob will have completed 29 years service in the Poplar Post Office. Congratulations, Bob. REMOVING THE PRESS FROM THE BASEMENT WAS NO SMALL JOBBUT CAME OUT WITH FLYING COLORS UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF TOM MC GOWAN, AL AULT, t KELLY MC GOWAN.
